Adelaide: Trial of New Psoriasis Medication
CMAX is seeking volunteers for a clinical trial investigating a new psoriasis treatment. Participants will be reimbursed for their time and inconvenience. Positions will be filled on a first come first served basis.
We are calling for volunteers to help us conduct this study who fit the following criteria:
- Have active but stable plaque psoriasis, for at least 12 months
- Have psoriasis on at least 5% of their body (1% equals the area of the palm of your hand, including fingers)
- Are aged 18 to 75
Volunteers will be reimbursed for their time and inconvenience. The trial lasts for 20 weeks, and requires volunteers to undertake visits at the CMAX unit in the Royal Adelaide Hospital during this time. 75% of participants will receive the new study medication, which may improve your psoriasis. The remaining 25% will receive placebo.
If you fit the above criteria you may be eligible to participate in the clinical trial. If you would like to participate, or for more information, please enter your contact details into the questionnaire using the link below.
The trial is being conducted at the CMAX facilities within the Royal Adelaide Hospital by medically qualified professionals, and has received full ethics committee approval by the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee.
